    How was your experience?

Thanks, thinking of doing a transfer there.

Yes. I've used Adobe Premium (Rick) for FFL services and bought my Frog Lube from him. It is just a house/garage. He'll treat you right.

Just wanted to update, I had a phenomenal experience doing my transfer there.

He is an awesome dude! I transferred my first firearm purchase there and it was nice to be able to talk to someone who knew what they were doing and explain things to me. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is near him.

I, too, decided to try Adobe Premium Firearms in Carmel for a transfer.
Just picked up my rifle from Rick.
I had a great experience. He was easy to get a hold of, promptly replied to emails and picked up the phone when I called, provided information during the shipping/transfer process. Easy to talk to. Definitely consider him for the next transfer.
He also has, I believe, some ammo and few guns for sale. And, of course, FrogLube.

I guess it's this thread, then. He is a nice guy. You can special order any firearm from him I think.

I am less than impressed with Rick and his garage based business. When I purchased my gun online from gunbroker, he was very prompt with his emails and communication. Everything was going smooth. It all went downhill from there. When I showed up he was very friendly and obviously know what he is doing. Unfortunately, he lost my gun and was extremely unorganized. He gave me the wrong gun. After searching his house for several hours, he finally found it. OK. I get it. Everyone has mistakes so no worries except for the next issue. I told him that I wanted to buy another item from him. We setup an appointment time for 1pm. I showed up at 12: 50pm. so I was a little bit early. When I got there he had no idea of our appointment and said he wasnt going to be ready for me for about 45 minutes. Completely unacceptable. 2 strikes, you are out. Nice guy but he needs to get organized and pull his **** together.

I had a recent online purchase shipped to him. Very nice guy. No complaints. I'm new to firearms and he offered to clean one of my guns and demo how frog lube works. I'm looking forward to it.

He is totally correct, I did need to get my S**T together- everything he said was true and my fault. In order to facilitate change I have upgraded my firearms tracking software to AIMI, which will prevent something like this from happening again...my sincere apologies...

Everybody gets busy and it can be tough to try to start up a second, someday possibly your primary career, while minding your first job. I have had Rick transfer 10+ guns for me and all have gone well. Kudos Rick for stepping up to the plate and admitting the problem was you and not pointing the finger/blaming someone else. As a competitive person myself, it is sometimes easy to not take responsibility for any errors, problems but I have found that people will respect you more for accepting blame and offering a simple apology. Should be seeing him in a few days with my latest acquisition and as always, I am looking forward to it.

Just dealt with this guy on armslist. He is completely unprofessional and rude. Tried to make a deal on a gun and he came to a price of 1035 I said 1000 cash now no response for 24hrs. I get a response he said I made a deal you didnt take it so now its asking price plus tax 1123. He couldve simply said no thanks im firm at 1035, woulda still bought it not now! Judging from this thread nobody has bought a gun off this guy looks like all transfers to me.

Like to hear the other side to that story, probably two sides isn't it? Rick has ALWAYS been a honest stand up guy with me. When I get bottom feeders/low ballers they also get that treatment. He runs a small gunshop, not a garage sale.

Perfect example of an immature person not getting his way . I made an offer to him- which he declined- no problem. He contacted me 2 days later and asked if I was firm on my offer, I said that you declined my offer so I was back at the asking price- that is why and how he got upset. I did not tell him that I was firm on 1035 because I was not anymore- that was a 1 time offer. I told him it was time to understand the process...

I can't recommend Rick highly enough. He facilitated a transfer for me and was knowledgeable, personable, and completely professional. If you're anywhere in and around Hamilton County and need an FFL for a transfer or are looking for a specific firearm, you couldn't do any better than Rick at Adobe Premium Firearms.
