    I have a Taurus 92AFS and it's a fantastic pistol. The trigger is incredible and it's NEVER failed in any manner. It's a beautiful firearm and you'll be proud to own it. I have the Beretta 92 and it's pretty much a Taurus and vice/versa.

    I say get the Taurus.

    Some are made in Italy while some here in the states.

    Are they better, nope. Are they different, yes. There are differences in some of the components (plastic vs metal) and the inox (stainless) finish. It's actually even a different color. In most all cases, the Italian versions have all metal parts (trigger, guide rod).



    On the Berretta topic, I saw one advertised as "Made in Italy", is that somehow better than one made whereever else they make them? Does that mean older manufacture?
