    I ended up buying one from 21st century a couple weeks ago. It tightened the gun right up. I wasn't looking for it to make the rifle more accurate, I was simply trying to make the upper and lower "tighten" up. Thanks for all of the input. And for those that said it would damage the gun, I can't figure out for the life of me how a piece of plastic under the rear pin can cause any damage.

    I've carried m16's that you could see daylight between the upper and lower from the front pin all the way to the back pin. You could shake it like crazy. I'd hate to guess how many thousands of rounds the rifles in Infantry units have through them and I've been able to hit 300 meter targets with irons every time. They were still more accurate than I was.
