I think you missed my point... You can only "trick" something if that something has the ability to be "tricked" or "deceived". Neither of which you are doing. Rather, you are manipulating the system to your advantage by applying scientific principles, mainly playing on the latent heat of evaporation of water...I have been using this "Trick" since 1965 on refrigeration and HVAC units. I see your point but it is tricking the system. Condensing temps fall below what they would be if allowed to run on just the ambient air available to the condenser.
I have done this on evaporation condensing towers as well. Been in this game for a long....long....long time.
