It was a great event. We didn't stick around long enough to tally our scores but what a great bunch of guys! My wife and some family members get a kick out of me doing this. The conversation usually goes like this:

Family/friend(FF): "You know these guys you are going to go shoot with?"
Me: "Never met them but I know them from an online gun forum".
FF: "Really? How do you do that? So you are just going to show up at some stranger's house with a bunch of guys you never met, all carrying guns and shoot?"
    Me: "yup, pretty much."
FF: "Wow, I could never do that.":)

Thanks again sgreen3 for putting this on. I look forward to meeting up with you again and also the rest of you guys. We had a good group today.

Oh BTW, I think that is me in the third pic on the right bench, but I am okay remaining totally anonymous. Shoot today? In Scottsburg? Nah, I wasn't there.:)

Funny! This is the same conversation that I had too.

My best group of the day was 1.063 MOA using 168gr Federal Gold Medal Match. Just started in the .308 caliber so didn't have enough brass yet to get into reloading.

The rifle is a home built .308 AR.
    Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP
    18" Mega barrel w/ a 1:10 twist
    Geissele SSA-E trigger
    Magpul PRS stock
Everything else is Palmetto State Armory

Thanks, hoping to get sub-moa with reloads. Need to shave less than a 0.1" and I'll be there. Seems very doable.

Get that ragged hole of yours posted already!

Yea you get some decent handloads worked up for that I'd say you'll be there without much problem at all. Ha ha when we get back home tomorrow Ill get it posted!

Here is my 3rd round and best group. I wish I could have stayed to see how I did for the final two rounds.
