    I don't know why the cop wanted to get it out & clear it either.

    Did he think that you were going to suddenly go crazy & start shooting up the place & everyone around just because you put your hand on your gun?

    I'd have just got it out myself & stuck it in my waistband. You don't need their permission...do you? :dunno:

    Based on the comments in this thread, and in previous threads, I am beginning to wonder about the "sweep" concern on the INGO posting. I note the OP mentions that the cop swept the universe (ok, an exaggeration) when clearing the weapon, and there were several comments about it in subsequent posts. I am going to take that to another thread, though, to avoid hi-jacking the OP's thread.

    Glad no one was hurt, and no one made a fuss about the weapon in the vehicle. Seems the Leos are improving.
