I'd really like to get a Noveske Pig on there, but I'm still trying to convince them to make me one with the threads I need.

Lowers are packed and ready to be shipped out for engraving. I'm dropping these of to be shipped over lunch today. I decided to use Ident Marking in Texas after reading about them and seeing their work in esrice's thread about his SBR.

I'll have the Form 1's filled out and ready to go as soon as I get them back. They are saying the lead time is 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long, but its not that long considering I'll be waiting 4-6 months for the ATF anyway.

Small update... Got my new sites today. I decided to go the snob route and get Noveske Branded Troy BUIS instead of using the Magpul MBUS. I also got my thread adapter that'll allow me to put on a Noveske KX3 Flash Suppressor with 5/8-24 Threads :rockwoot:

So how much better do you like those sights? They look huge in the pics, are they bigger than the mbus?

I can't wait to see the KX3 on there!

    :dunno:

They're a tad longer, but only the base is wider. Its hard to compare the overall size between the two. I think it looks bigger because the camera was almost sitting on them I was so close.

I emailed Troy about swapping the front sight post to an HK style. Hopefully they'll be able to help me out.

I can't wait to see the KX3 on there either... they seem to be backordered everywhere by 3 weeks though. Hopefully I'll get it about the time I get my lower back.

I think its a camera distortion. They are actually pretty low-profile.

I could see that, with that kind of camera! Or is it just the operator?;)

    :+1:

its my cell phone camera and I have the shakes when I try to use that thing it seems :D

:blahblah: my phone is better than your phone!:p

    :lmfao:

I can't wait to see it done though really, it's going to be a very nice build!

WooHoo!! More stuff came today, now I'm just waiting on the lower to come back from the engraver and I can build it as a pistol.

What is the button lookin' thing with the Spike's logo?

And I'm curious if that KX3 would fit inside that rail . . . .

Button looking thing is the buffer spacer so the 9mm bolt won't travel as far.

I doesn't look like it would fit, its just shy of being small enough. I'll have to loosen the rail to be sure, but it appears that if it did fit it would be very very tight.

Is there any way you could build one of these to take sten mags? If so, I will probably build one. The more I watch this thread the more Im wanting one.
