Saiga 12 is complete

Today was the first day that I've been able to work on the S12 conversion. Everything went pretty smooth. Tomorrow I'll go test it.

Now I just need a high cap mag for it. I'm thinking about getting the extended mag release for it as well.

I like the handguard! I went back and forth between one like yours and a rail, but ended up going with the Chaos rail... mostly so I could swap accesories with my AR. I even built a mock-up out of PVC....

While I was considering a handguard like yours. I found these guys: http://www.impactweaponscomponents.com/flash.html. They make some cool widgets for non-railed weapons!
