I had my USArmy tribute pistol in a freek forge holster and matching spare magazine carrier. I almost wore my Hill Country aircraft pilot shoulder rig but thought the peeps at Arni's would have their tighty whities in a twist. It ain't like Bloomington but close...
Today is my daughter and mom's birthday. Yeah, they shared the same date.
The LPD officer that was getting his to-go order wouldn't apprehend my grandson for the crimes he commited so his great uncle is gonna have to do it.

My Shooting buddy and I lined our 1911's up Friday. His is a Kimber, Stainless mod, mine is a Rock Island 1911 A1. We fired a magazine volley and a moment for CM.
Never met Tim personally, but liked his persona. Im also a Retired Refrigeration Repair Tech, and understand a lot of his expertise. Tough work, and glad he enjoyed his 1911's. He earned it.

wait, that's sunday. I always carry a 1911 on weekends.

EDIT: if I had more disposable income the truck gun would also be a 1911 but alas it's not.

    Not far from the tree
I lack a 1911, but I have a pocket knife I bought from him near the end. I cherish that knife and the time at his kitchen table chatting along with his lovely bride as she sat nearby in the living room working on a sewing project.

So I shall carry that instead.
The 10mm is at home that I acquired from Mouse. The Pro-Tech TR3-Swat is almost always with me.
