People still have VHS tapes?! Didn't those go out about the same time as record albums?

Local video store was trying to sell a used VHS player a few months ago. It sat there for two weeks before they got someone to actually buy it. Price? $7.50

Eh. I would have been 25 in 86 and 80's metal never did anything for me.

Now more recent Symphonic Metal (Nightwish, Evanescence, Xandria, Edenbridge, et al) and Power Metal (Dragonforce, Hammerfall, Lost Horizon, et al) are a whole different story. Then there's Gothic Metal (Within Temptation) and just plain Goth (The Cruxshadows--although they're really the only Goth group I like).

"Stand my ground, I won't give in.
"No more denying, I've got to face it.
"Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
"If I don't make it, someone else will
    "Stand my Ground"
    (Within Temptation, Stand My Ground)

"And in the fury of this darkest hour
    "We will be your light
"You've asked me for my sacrifice
    "And I am Winter born
"Without denying, a faith is come
    "That I have never known
"I hear the angels call my name
    "And I am Winter born"
    (The Cruxshadows, Winterborn)

"He still can recall his father's words
"'Don't loose your faith, let your voice be heard'
"Echoes from the past will lead him on
"By these words of honor, shine like the sun
"By the sign of the moon
"He swore the oath to fight alone
    (Hammerfall, Destined for Glory)

    Good music for the revolution.

Too many slaves in this world
    Die by torture and pain
Too many people do not see
Theyre killing themselves - going insane

Too many people do not know
Bondage is over the human race
    They believe slaves always lose
And this fear keeps them down

Watch the damned (God bless ya)
Theyre gonna break their chains (hey)
No, you cant stop them (God bless ya)
    Theyre coming to get you
    And then youll get your

    Balls to the wall, man
    Balls to the wall
Youll get your balls to the wall, man
Balls to the wall - balls to the wall

Ya'll missed the funniest part.... Miss "Yeah" said she'd "...jump Rob Halford's bones...", the only problem with that is ol' Rob is interested in 'bones' of a different sort... :moon::gaychase::gheyhi:
