I don't know, I might have to find "Henry Bowman's" 4 bore double rifle if I hit a big enough lottery. Maybe a few other English double rifles for African hunting, those pieces of art and history have always interested me. Along with a collection of every kind of US military weapon used since the Revolution. And shoot them all at least once a year.

Yeah, if I hit a big enough lottery, there would be several guns I'd own inspired by Henry. Colt Monitor, Solothurn, Lahti, some big bore double rifles.......oh yeah

    Jacquas ?

I'll never forget the first time I drove 2.5 hours up to Jaqua's to buy my first real Trap gun. I was probably about 19. You know when you walk into a gun room, where the door to the room is a massive vault-type door with bolts that lock sideways into the door frame...you are in a serious-azz gun room! :spend:Neal Kathrens was the salesman, and I think I wrote him a check for something like $450. It was a lot of money for me then, but considering the dollar value of the other stuff lining the walls of that room...I just remember feeling like a really, small fish!

I used to receive their gun inventory list in the mail, and the stuff that has passed through there over the years was just amazing. A lot of estate property from wealthy individuals seemed to go through there, and the sets of guns that some of these guys acquired in a lifetime of collecting is just unbelievable. All-gauge sets of original, factory-engraved Model 12s, Holland & Holland this, Purdey that...gadzoiks.

They had an estate they had just bought of 175 handguns, laying out on tables. 4 Colt Woodsmans, S&W Model 41 and a lot of Colt style SSA's. A few Lugers, an original Colt .22 lr 1911, and several Euro block pistols from the 40's too.
