City set to condemn land where pioneer museum is located

You win property in a state-land auction .

City government offers to buy it from you FOR WHAT YOU PAID .

You refuse .. NO SALE . ( with silence . You are still allowed not to talk to someone in this country if you don't want to ... right ?)

No problem . All laws are enforced by the gun .
We have guns . We have bigger guns than you do . We have police and Sheriff Joe that will use them for us . ( and I bet he will if called upon. )

Phoenix City Council voted 7-0 to use EMINENT DOMAIN TO ACQUIRE LAND .

Why bid any more and drive up the price? Just let someone else buy it and then take it by force.

To me, by participating in the auction but not bidding until they were the highest bidder, they've exercised bad faith and I hope a judge slaps their hands. But then, I believe in the Tooth Fairy.

    Un freaking believable.

So, I want my neighbor's house, but he won't sell it to me. So I can just claim imminent domain and throw him out right? Oh, it doesn't work that way? Guess it shouldn't work at all then.

IIRC, they were trying to take the town away from those folks because of Gold or Silver or something they wanted to mine. I can't quite remember.

When I seen the space ships come in I couldn't help but:):.
In Protest version the law actually stood up for the folks actions at the Grove.

    :D

Yea, too bad the law isn't as true nowadays as it was then. The Country would be in much better shape. Back then, anyone fighting for what was right, AGAINST the law, was hailed a hero. Nowadays they are called extremists and carted off to jail in droves.
