FYI: I went to Dunham's Sports this afternoon and they had 12 of the bulk military surplus corrosive-primer ammo cans in stock. They must have figured that everyone was going to go crazy after the election. The shelves were stocked better than I have ever seen. They didnt' have the 7.62 X 39 I was looking for, but I still picked up a can to feed my Mosin Nagant and a couple of .38 boxes.

Should be 440 in a spam can. Not a terrible price if you don't want to wait for shipping (or finding it in stock). Check out Ammo Deals | Slickguns as there are usually some pretty good deals if you don't mind waiting for shipping.
