We can ask Sadclown to bring one.

Thanks, I wondered who would give me the straight line.

Just giving an update on donations and Tshirts. I have now recieved all pledged donations to this point

    Leftover from last year $140
    Dark Horse Inspirations $40
    Valpo Barbers $20
    Snap On Tools(Chris Kester) $20
    Glen Park Izaak Waltons $50
    Myself $20
    Chemteach $20
    Actaeon $60

    Total of $370

Shirts are covered with a few bucks left over.

I had Kevin at Printcraft go ahead and order the shirts needed so he has them ready for us. I went with the saftey orange for color and will accent with black lettering.

I have been in contact with Doug at the Winimac Dnr, and am still waiting on the flyers. Apparently some changes have been made so taking longer than expected(bureaucracy crap). Either i or Jedi will post that once available.

Just double checking that my wife's business is spelled as Dark Horse Inspirations and not darkhorse.

I haven't given the list of sponsors yet to kevin at Printcraft. I will make sure its correct

Edit: just double checked my emails with Doug at the Dnr and its correct for the flyer.

How soon till the flyers are ready?

As Jedi said above the bureaucracy is holding it up. Just talked to Doug at Dnr on Wednesday and he still had no timeframe for getting it. Definitely going to hurt turnout with only 7 weeks to go!

I don't think the libs in Indy want us teaching people how to shoot and proper firearm safety. It goes against how people view gun owners.

We need to change the venue.

Maybe we could get Point Blank or Blythe's to give us a half day. They would help with advertising. We could ask 4H to co sponsor. Set up food prep in the parking lot. PB also allows us to carry on the range.

It would be easier for NWI citizens to attend.

It may be possible to set up archery outside, but most likely no clays.

Maybe Isaac Walton would like to do something.

this thread is not the venue for that topic.
open a new one for next year or later this year if you want to explore that. im not happy OUR home at winamac dnr but it is still OUR home and we already told them we would do it this year there.

we have enough traffic already on this thread for that event.
