it is very warm and has tons of pockets! it was a great find

yes the sides have zippers so you can access your pants pockets or holstered pistol

yeah, i have one and i love it. it has zippers on the sides, and an elastic strap that snaps across the gap if you keep it unzipped. very warm, and very stain resistant.
