I like my target loads to be around 185 grainers going around 1200FPS.
OP, I'm in St. John. What kind of reloading gear you using?
Try a 200 grain lead SWC with 4.2 grains of Alliant Bullseye or if jacketed (not plated) you can try a 185 grain JHP with 4.5 grains of Alliant Bullseye.

Ditto, congratulations on your find!Try a 200 grain lead SWC with 4.2 grains of Alliant Bullseye or if jacketed (not plated) you can try a 185 grain JHP with 4.5 grains of Alliant Bullseye.
Yeah a 200 grain H&G#68 LSWC or clone over 4.2 - 4.6 grains of Bullseye would be a good load. If the OP is using an autodisc then he will be limited on the settings. I think 4.4 grains was an option for my old press. Bullseye is hard find! Winchester 231 or Clays would be another option. Win231 I think the auto disc had a 4.6 and 5.0 grain setting.
I really like the 200 grain wadcutters I get from Bayou Bullet.
what do you think of 4.6 gr of bullseye pushing a 230 gr plated roundnose?
Where did you find data like that? From a 45Auto just over 1000FPS is max, not target.
