    We should do a most memorable shots with .410 thread. My most remarkable shots ever made in the field were with .410 using a model 42

    Sadly none of them are mine though...
    I used to Dove hunt in Texas with a couple of old timers. They both used .410's, and when they really wanted to humble someone they would break out the 28's...

    100yd shot with a .410 slug might be entering the unethical hunter area. They are good bunny and squirrel busters, but don't take a chance with big game...

    I have mounted scopes on 2 H&R 410 single shots and sighted them in for some friends children. I was very impressed with how well both of them shot with very manageable recoil. Both fathers limited their young hunters to 70 yards and both of them have taken a doe with there shotguns.
