I have a P229, P239, and a HK USPc all in 357Sig. The 229 is hands down the best of the three. The USPc in 357Sig is a rare bird to find also. I use to own one and I traded it away. HK also stopped making and supporting the 357Sig barrels/guns so anything chambered in it are getting harder to find. The 229 handles the round very good and super accurate. I don't encounter the snap of the 357 like a lot of people report. I actually think it is very pleasant to shoot. It is very expensive though to feed.

Ditto on what sig1473 said except I haven't found my 239 in .357 yet just 9mm. The USPc in .357 is very nice. Find a 229 in .40 or .357 then buy the other cal bbl.

    Gotta say, after shooting an M&P, Glock 32 Gen3 & Gen4, a Sig P229....

    Hands down, Glock 32 Gen4!

Or in terms of price, M&P .357 Sig FS.

I have a Glock 33, its nice I carry it in a ankle holster. It takes a little getting use to since its a sub compact. If i was going compact or full frame I would consider the Sig P229!

I carry the Glock 33. It is a little cannon. It is easy to shoot and will stop almost anything. It is a little on the loud side when fired without proper hearing protection.

I have a .357 barrel for my 229. Don't shoot it very much. It is loud, but that's just more fun for me. The thing that gets me is the wickedly reckless speed. That round is MOVING. Not a round I'd carry on a typical daily basis, just because .40 works fine for me. It is a fun round to have, though. And I do see why some of the police agencies prefer it.

Ditto on the P229......Love mine! Have used others, and keep coming back to the Sig for my CC piece. Inside the pant holster. Stainless gives me piece of mind against corrosion from sweat/weather
