    somewhere in the dark
i have a few lever guns and if you can save and wait, get the Henry Big Boy.
the Henry looks and feels excellent, the action is smooth right out of the box and everybody that sees it says "wow, that's beautiful".
all that being said, if you can find a JM marked Marlin, get that.

Uberti makes a really high end .38 special that if i had the extra money i would have.
at least check out some of their stuff: A. Uberti Firearms, it is very expensive though.

if you look around a little, you can get the Henry for less than $700 at some places.

let us know what you end up doing.

side note, anyone want to go to beech grove range and have a lever gun shooting day? i will bring 4 or 5 different ones and we can swap and try different guns and calibers.
anybody wanna do this? let's have a lever gun day soon. please let me know.
