I've heard good things about those which is good because the promag ones are crap. what I like about those is you can change the "towers" on them to serve double duty on a 10/2 as well.

Who makes the drum in question?
Do you have 1 for your 10/22?
    Thanks!

You buy it for the coolness factor. There are some things that don't make sense, yet are so cool you just have to have one! :D

I saw a couple people say on the smith forums that it does NOT lock the bolt open on last round fired. Let us know how it runs. I may pick one up down the line.

We took the Black Dog Drum to MCFG this morning, Austin ran 400 rounds of Federal Champion .22LR Hollow point thru the drum on his M&P 15-22.

He shot slow, he shot 2 and 3 round busts, and then on the last full drum, he unloaded all 50 rounds in a little under 30-seconds,, heated up the barrel pretty good but we can report that there were zero jams and zero hiccups, it ran flawlessly:rockwoot:

    +1 for Black Dog 50 rd drum:yesway:

Mine works great. I've also got the 10/22 conversion tower but have not used it yet. If you own both the 10/22 and mp1522 the conversion towers makes the drum work on both rifles. How beautiful is that??? One drum for two guns.
