Between set up this week and shooting today, I'm all beat up.

And Jake promised me that he would work me to death this weekend, before I left the clubhouse tonight.:nailbite:

You guys have put in a lot of time and effort (some of it in pretty hot and humid weather) getting everything ready.
Thank you for all the effort you guys have expended so that we can have fun.

I am home from the match. Some observations.
    1) 18 stages is a lot of shooting.
    2) Best stages of any major match I have attended this year.
    3) Lee Leonard is still a hero of mine.
    4) Mike McCauley is strict as an RO.
    5) Some reshoots work out and some do not.
    6) I have never seen Silver Creek Conservation Club so cleaned up.
    7) The hotel room smells better when your brother is at home.
    8) Shooting the state match and then leaving is a lot better than building it for a week, then RO ing.
    9) Shooting steel well is a lot more fun than shooting it poorly.
    10) Driving a truck through a stage design is still fun.
    11) I still think foot faults should be levied on a per shot fired basis.
    12) If you missed this match it was a mistake.

Its a great match!! Got really lucky. I have a recoil master in the open gun and it broke on the last shot of the match.:wow:

Couldn't of happen at a better time.

Great match. I actually shot OK for an 18 stage match. 5 mikes. Shot way too many deltas though. A lot great stages that were a ton of fun to shoot. And I actually had a reshoot work out in my favor this time. Thanks Coach.

    Yes he is.

I'm going to try this some time

I'm going to try this also.

    1. Coach is a gamer. I just happened to catch him once.
    2. You should listen to me more often
    3. Thanks for being a gamer and showing us a few ways to beat gratuitous movement.
    4. Coach should thank me for being a 'strict' RO
    5. 14 stages is a lot in one day. However I would have preferred to shoot 18
    6. My brother sweats the smell of 10 day old road kill.
    7. I'm fat and my back, knees, and feet hurt.
    8. After ROing stage 12 all afternoon, I want another crack at
    it.
    10. I bet you are wondering where 9 is.
    11. You just noticed there was no 9
    12. My ass is chaffed...I'll show whoever wants to see it

Strong compliments from Coach. Thank You. Wish I was there to shoot, observe, work and meet & greet everyone. Hope everyone shoots well.

Wish you didn't have to miss seeing everyone enjoying the club and the stages that you helped build.
This is truly an epic match.

Don't worry Dave, Dan is covering for you. He has almost wore out that Ranger riding around the range.:laugh::laugh::

Dan and everyone is doing a great job the club should be proud.

Dave, a big thank you for all of your support and hard work in getting ready for and helping put this match on the ground. Sorry that you missed shooting it and being here for it
There is no guarantee on the condition of the range when we leave.....(I hear that there is a maniac tearing up **** on a go cart)

if you want to get off i65 in edinburgh and take 31 south past seymour, then get back on after that you will miss the construction

I drove I-65 from Indy straight to Sellersburg, no issue. Not sure how it is during the day. I saw a road notice the construction will resume 9/14.

Signs on northbound I-65 said that construction will resume at 7:00 pm Sunday. No problem this afternoon, until the south split
    in Indianapolis.
