2013 Squirrel Season

I want to take my daughter for her first hunt. Have to find some public land.. Any safe recommendations in central Indiana?

I like Morgan Monroe State Forest by Martinsville.

Hoosier National Forest is where I like to squirrel hunt or Atterbury FWA

I think I will backpack in with my Buckmark pistol and the hunt should be fun and a challenge. I'll have to figure out how to cook squirrel over a campfire. I think Deam Wilderness may be a good place.

Wherever you go should be good this year. Spent Sunday with some other hunters punching paper to make sure the .22's were still shooting good. A little adjustment on the scope and good to go!
