    Could be anywhere
I refer you to my post at #40..."Believe it or not...there are some of us out here that actually have your back and would be proud to fall in your defense."

I do believe some out there don't want it though...or at least I've heard this in other threads.

So when they refuse to do pro-active police work, they are being lazy, disrespectful and insubordinate but in other cities where there is not sufficient manpower to do pro-active police work it is "tough toenails"? As long as the officers promptly and efficiently respond to calls for service, it is hard for me to have issues with their actions.

You want the officers to go out and write tickets, summonses and make low-level arrests, that is proactive and the only way you are going to MAKE the officers do this is to have a "quota" system in place. Oh how the libertarians would love that.....

It cannot be had both ways.

When they refuse to do pro-active police work they are lazy and when they do engage in pro-active police work they are tyrants. There is no way to win.

A la Fergurson...... don't go and you hate the community by not protecting them..... do go and you hate the community by oppressing it with your presence.

If you are justified in acting in defense of an officer (or citizen), I doubt you would "get in trouble."

I get that. I think sadly it depends on where you are. Remember that Mike Brown has been made out to be a martyr. Some 13 year old comes up to shoot two cops with a sideways "Gat" and you take him out you know sharpton and jackson would be trying to make it about race.

Help or don't help, do what you wish to do. I would certainly appreciate the help.
It's hard to say how any one of us would react if actually put in this situation. Speaking for myself I would hope to be able to provide assistance and at the very least I would do my damndest not to accidentally shoot you Frank.

I would keep mine holstered, the temptation to shoot Frank in one of his jackboots might just be too much for me to control myself :lmfao:

I am trying to find a link, but apparently sometime this week a gang member of the black gorilla family ( prison gang) went to a baltimore, md police station with dope and a loaded .22 pistol. This was done to "test their security". I cant believe he did not lit up quick. My buddy ( his father in law was a cop in baltimore) told me the desk cops are often unarmed since they often are taking prisoners to the back? They m ight want to have someone armed around with this crap.
