Anyone in the Lafayette or Indy area got one of these I could borrow or rent?

Had the old tube fall out of my Springer 1911 while I was changing grips, and while I ordered a new one with a bunch of other parts, I forgot to order the tool.

    Thanks!

With Springfield's lifetime warranty, I would have them replace it on their dime. They will pay shipping both ways and you will likely get some TLC done on the whole pistol at the same time.

I'm not the original owner. IIRC, their warranty only covers the initial purchaser.

Left a message with Indygunworks, so we shall see. . . .

I have never heard of an instance where Springfield turned down a second or third owner of the firearm. But, it is your money.
