1911 night sights

Have full size springfield 1911 and want to put night sights on it but not sure what kind to get and where to get them installed at so help please thanks

Talk to INGO member AllenM. He sells and installs 1911 sights. Picture of the gun would help out a lot. Need to see what cuts are in your slide so you can get the correct sights.

I just went with these night sights for my 1911. AllenM will be installing then for me.

Front Sight: 1911 Colt, XS White dot tritium Night front sight

Rear Sight: Sight, Novak Style "U" Notch, Tritium Trijicon .325X.140 2-DOT

I would get behind a set of xs sights before buying them. Shoot them if possible. I don't care for them ymmv

I didnt like the XS rear sight at all. So I bought the XS front sight and a u-notch rear sight.

It has novak cut on it

Fun fact - Many Springfield "Novak" cuts aren't actually Novak cuts. They're close, and a good 'smith can make a Novak cut sight work with some filing.

Buy straight from novak for some great night sights. They will sell ones with a springfield cut. Cost a little more but worth it
