    Get him an LTCH and have him buy a gun from a private individual. He can't buy one from a store until 21 but at 18 he can acquire one legally through private sales.

    I paid for the LTCH for my son on his 18th bday.... never know how long they will offer a lifetime license. I was late 30's before they started to offer them.

    and absolutly not if he doesn't have his LTCH, he can't have it on his person at anytime, now the wonderful leader of our country approved it, and he's allowed to have it in his truck. but other that that i think you're stuck

    You mean the state legislation? And you can still only transport it unloaded, a lot of good that will do you.

    And no, the lifetime isn't going away, but get it anyways!
