I'm goin to try and go tomorrow and was wondering what type if payment most vendors take. I know cash is obvious but are credit/debit cards ok? I'm asking because I dont have time to go home and get enough cash. Checks probably aren't accepted are they?

Cash is king though many vendors take creditcards but usually charge a small fee. Not sure about checks.

Most vendors from what I have seen charge 3% more if you use credit or debit.

I went to my first one in August, it's clearly marked, and if in doubt, the parking guys can direct you.

There was only one gate open last time when I was there, not sure if it'll be the same this weekend or not.

If I remember right it was the gate in a corner, pulled in and went right around the perimiter until the parking guys directed me where to park...

I can't remember which street it was off of, I hadn't been to the fairgrounds since the Street Machine Nationals left... around 2001 iirc.
