    I cleaned it Friday about 11am by 2pm the slide was rusting, I used the same stuff I've always used, gun scrubber and rem-oil, today when I got it out to clean it with Hoppes it was rusted all over to the point of being stuck in battery, I had to put it in a vice to get the slide to move, tapped the back of the slide with a rubber mallet and the back plate cracked.

    The only thing that could have done it was some kind of household cleaner that my rag had on it

    The way they handled it makes me think it happens a lot, if it was a once in a million problem they would have fixed it, IMO
