Three guys were using red dot equipped glocks at a recent Langdon Advanced pistol class. Two of the fellas did very well, me, not so much. Just not enough time on the platform but I certainly see the advantages and will continue to work on it.

I would never just listen for the ping, you have to trust your sights. Steel is fun but overuse can make one sloppy on bullet placement, IMO.
The use of steel makes the class go quicker, there is no pasting or checking of targets, you either hit or not.

Great times. Since you didn't show the target I am assuming you had all hits inside the scoring rings.

Mike's been in couple of classes with me, if he says you would be okay, no problem. I talked to Ernest about this and everything in this class will be ramped up, if you feel comfortable you are free to enroll. Our biggest concern is someone being in way over there head, not a good experience...
I may end up trying a G19/RMR combo this time. Depends on my progress in the next few months. Still seems fitting to use my Beretta again, wanna stand next to me this year Mike:)?
