      anyone shot their 9mm xds, esp if u also own 45xds

      I was on the waiting list for one and extremely excited when i got the call to come pick it up. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived, after i fired the first round i learned quickly that gun is not for people that have bigger hands and a high grip. I got bit by the slide.

      I enjoy my 9mm version so much i picked up a 40 Shield last night.

      Any m&p owner get a apex trigger kit and regret it?

      I have the APEX competition trigger in my S&W CORE 9mm and the carry trigger in my Shield 9mm both removed the gritty feel that is always referenced in both of those two handguns. Bruce at Blythes in Valparaiso did the installs for me.

      Just picked my next one up last night, S&W Shield in .40. Headed to the range today to see if i'll love it as much as the 9mm version.

      "Pocket" 9mm Sig 938, Beretta Nano, Kahr CM9 ?

      I carried my Sig 938 for a few months but eventually put it in the safe in favor of a S&W 9mm Shield. Both are fantastic small carry handguns.

      Got a Shield!

      Congrats on the purchase. Depending on your situation i would recommend getting an apex trigger installed. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference but it absolutely did and i love the shield even more now.
