I just took a trip and got some vids from the range. Will deffinately be there. Bringing my new Glock 17, my astra A-100 and possibly the .380 and mossberg .22lr (bring 9mm) See everyone there.
Thnx for all the info guys, I appreciate it. Loved that little xd vs. glock video!!! lol I think i'm going to head up to blythes this weekend and make my decision up there while I have them all in my hands.
I like the way the XD looks and feels, it naturally points when you lift it to eye level, and the glock is kinda akward the way you have to lean your hands forward when you point it unless hip firing, and I think springfield has more history than glock with building guns and it's an American...
Agreed it's very marginal but it's still an advantage, and the .45 is a little more intimidating when it pops off, I'm just wanting something to replace my carry gun that's gunna be something I can count on when I need it and is fun to shoot. Also the rail and decent priced threaded barrels are...
I only rarely target shoot so ammo price isn't a problem, plus I like the extra stopping power of the .45 round (reason for selling 9mm and .380 after I get it) But the explosions don't sound all that great. lol I like the 1911 in .45 but I don't like the single action or the price tag on a nice...
What are your guys' thoughts on a Springfield XD-45 4" for OC/CC, home defense, and the occasional target shooting with my homeys? I'm looking for a reliable, all around platform that's not gunna break the bank. Is that even the best choice in the $5-600 or am I better off going with something...
Cool, you do your thing, I'll do mine and then we'll all talk about owning firearms in the great state of Indiana. Besides this isn't a marijuana forum. YAY GUNS!!! ;)
Thought i'd make my debut appearance on INGO. Just signed up but i've been reading your forums for a while, lots of good content and debates, keep it up guys. And i'm a lifetime LTCH holder, and I carry my Astra A-100 in 9mm everywhere I go. Mostly CC but sometimes OC just for the hell of it.
