Seriously? Your company wasted its time for over ten years on a product that no one wants, and I'm willing to bet that this product wouldn't be successful in real-world environments. (I'm sure it works great in the lab under pristine conditions.) If this product ever hit the market...
I believe your first post said that you have one shotgun, and I take that to be the 870. An 870 is a good shotgun model, and unless it's causing you some sort of problem or isn't filling our home defense and/or hunting role (depending on what you're doing), I wouldn't trade it away just to get...
Also, think about what sort of SHTF scenario you're prepping for and what you're going to do. If it's bugging out, you probably won't be able to haul around all the crap I'm talking about anyways, so don't worry about it.
My plan involves probably staying put and probably arming some...
I totally understand. Demand and prices are up right now. To fully outfit your SHTF stock with 2 AKs, ~3k rounds, 12 mags, would probably run around $2,500.
Why 2 AKs? Well, I figure if we're going to have enough ammo and gear for a particular firearm, there better be a second/backup...
The AK and AR are both good choices. If you could, get one (or more) of each! I went with the AK for SHTF, though I do enjoy shooting the AR too!
I chose the AK because I could get more guns, more ammo, and more magazines for my money.
I believe the AK will hold up better to long-term...
My Glock isn't a race gun. I'm not a competition shooter. Other than maybe some night sights, my Glock doesn't "need" anything improvements to perform admirably.
It gets even more fun if you start shooting black powder. Round ball calibers usually aren't the actual size of the projectile. They're usually slightly larger or slightly smaller, depending on what you're shooting.
Not all calibers are measured equally, and sometimes the "name" of a caliber isn't always the size of the bullet.

Usually the smaller the gun is, the harder it is to rack the slide since it needs a more powerful spring in a smaller space.
Maybe a larger hand gun around the Glock 19 size would be easier for her to use? It can be easier to get a good grip on the slide of a larger gun.
Also, using a...
While I can appreciate an affordable tool that would receive some abuse, snapping blades aren't my idea of a good time.

I have a vague memory, and I'm hoping someone can help me out with finding what this actual item is, of a 16" barrel, where only 10" or 12" of it was rifled, and the remaining length was just a permanently attached "shroud" or hollow tube of sorts where a suppressor would fit inside and screw...
You can knock off a light rust with a stainless steel scrub pad. Steel wool and/or sandpaper for more. You might have to refinish the frame. I wouldn't use a power tool, unless the work is very labor-intensive. It can be too easy to damage or overwork a frame with a power tool.
