i bought a SAO legion 226. I wouldnt have done DA\SA on that gun. Honestly that trigger doesnt impress me that much. To me its really not much different than the standard SRT trigger kit.
My opinion on why you dont see them. Probably a mixture of colt being behind the times on dealer relations for one. Secondly as others have said less markup. Dealers will push what they make the most on. They will also convince the world that whatever they make the most on at any given time is...
ive got not one but two good ones. Not saying they are all great. Show me a production gun for what i paid for mine thats better though. I have shot the springfield line nice guns wont knock them but QC issues can be had there to and guess what i paid for my combat elite youd pay for a...
my gold cup is as tight as my friends dan wesson. THe trigger on the gold cup i have is excellent to. Only thing i hate are the factory grips i just think they look like crap. I think a lot of people love to hate on Colt.
most of the stuff being strapped on ARs today has very little practical purpose but man does it look cool when your standing at the range lol. I mean really we have found how many wars with the standard mil-spec handle. No reason to reinvent the damn wheel.
any advice p229 vs m11-a1 im new to the sig world but have caught the bug. Looked at a P320 to, really like the trigger but i guess call me old school for my age i love an all metal gun.
I compared them all hoenstly my combat elite is a really solid gun. Decent trigger, tight fitting but no issues with it not wanting to run. Nice fit and finsh, and its a colt say what you will. ITs a colt for 150 to 200 bucks more than a ruger. Give me the colt anyday every day.
no opinons? i love the Legion 226 i have but looking for something to carry on occassion. The 226 is to damn big and heavy. The 229 would better fit the bill just wandering if i should get the legion or a standard 229, or maybe a m11-a1? How does the Legion grey hold up to carry?
