It looks like my next job might be taking me to to Illinois. Not too happy about it, but it’s a great opportunity. The plus side is my territory crosses into NW Indiana, and I might be able to swing coming back and living in a Indiana. I used to live in Fishers a few years ago and we loved that...
I’ve had several AR’s from PSA, in 9mm, 300blk, and 556. I will stay away from their lpk and non premium triggers because I have had issues with multiples of both. I’ve had 5 stripped lowers with no issues, and their uppers are good as long as you are expecting a $250 complete upper to preform...
i was hesitant at first, which is why I went with the Agis, I even ordered an extra belt clip so I can separate the two and have a mag carrier and regular holster. But the flex of the Agis is really nice, and even for a fat guy like me, it’s not uncomfortable at all, and really does conceal well.
My tier1 concealed Agis came in the mail after a relatively quick 15 day wait, and I couldn’t be happier. The retention is perfect and it looks great!
Now I’m a bit a larger side and was concerned about aiwb, but that 300th parallel is real, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it...
It’s all relative. The gun is worth what I paid(bought used so about $900, to me the x300 isn’t worth it because I already have the tlr1 and like it better. I may spend 45k on a truck but I’m still going to think twice about putting rims on it that cost $2000... but i should have been more...
Recently picked up a p229 legion and I’m looking for an iwb holster that works with a tlr-1. I know Tier 1 makes and aiwb, but I’m not exactly built for that type of carry. I’ve found a few that fit the X300 light, but I really don’t want to spend ~$200 on a light.
Any suggestions?
I have the opportunity to buy a legion P229 9mm that is lightly used for $850. But it’s the CA compliant with 10 round mags. I can’t seem to find any info on the real differences. Can the CAlifornia one still accept 15 round mags, is there anything else different besides the magazines it ships...
I haven’t been able to get my hands on an HK with an LEM trigger, but I want to at least give it a look. I had a USP a while back that was ok, but I shot a friends p30 and the trigger was just terrible with a super long reset, but the ergonomics where really nice.
So I made the mistake of fondling a P229 Legion the other day and kind of fell in love with it. I have been debating switching back to a DA/SA gun for carry and that might be the gun to make it happen.
Is is there any others I should considered, I’ve had both CZ and HK and the trigger reset...
The key was to buy ever part but the lower. I bought the lower last and then put it all together the next day. Also keep in mind a built an ar9 pistol and 300blk rifle while gather parts for this one so I had a couple outlets for my nerves!
I finished a new build today. I really wanted an 18inch DMR/SPR type rifle. It’s taken about a year to gather parts as budget allowed, and I still might add a bipod, and the silencerco saker is in NFA jail. But the rifle is together and I hope to take it shooting in the next few days. It’s not...
I had an old town Dirigo 120 that was a great kayak and I used it on many Michigan lakes and rivers. Very stable and has a capcity of 350lbs with a dry well. I loaded it up for multi day river trips and never had an issue. It cut through the water and tracked great.
Look at Dunham’s and grab a...
Baiting is legal in Michigan with the exception of a few counties that are being monitored for CWD. But regardless, the Michigan DNR doesn’t consider food plots as “bait” or “feed”. Source- https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-350-79136_79772_79773_83479---,00.html
