Would you say to get the best use out of your sigs is keeping high maintenance on them then? and ok yes i was basing off of MSRP but still you will see them at least $100 more than the competitors full size model.
Also, you say NOT hollow points, what ammo do you use in your EDC gun then?
Ok, maybe if you are looking at the 1911 models, but if you look at the normal or full size models you will see atleast, if not more, $100 price difference between them and S&W, GLOCK, SA. Take the P226 as example. Full size 9mm but not one style is less than $1000
if youre looking for an all metal DA/SA why not baretta if youre going to spend the money? Also, @wtfd661, have you used many different loads or ammo manufacturers in it?
I am prepared for the uproar this topic is going to start but i want to hear everyones honest opinion. I really would like to know if Sigs are worth the big price tag. They are beautiful guns, yes i agree on that. But are they expensive just because of the name? Like if you are buying clothing...
midwest has revealed that they are going to have a huge black friday sale on the 27th 28th and 29th although the exact details of it have not been released yet
i am carrying a xdm 3.8 compact. I usually carry at 3 with my henry but 5 with the king tuk. i am normally in casual attire and carrying completely sealed. the belt is not the issue. I find that i use the henry more because its faster to put in or take out if i have to. so i guess its just more...
i would say that your main choice at this would be something in the 380 caliber but it all depends on your attire and what you are comfortable carrying. In the summer with cargo shorts i can carry something like the xds which widens your variety on caliber
i would say that if you're going to use it as an edc i wouldn't get the thumb safety because its one more thing you have to think about. really it comes down to what you're comfortable with.
my next handgun is going to be the XDs .45. I currently own an XDm 3.8 sub compact but i am keen to the .45 cal and how it feels coming out of the handgun.
