Looks like they dropped any charges they were going to pursue against the shooter. I saw the video, and yeah, it was definitely a serious situation that being armed made the difference. They only 'assumed' that he had gang ties, but they ere unable to verify any of that. Chalk one up for the...
Yeah, Once they leave, chasing them down is the problem. Good for him defending the woman and the kids. If he had not been armed, then things could have been much worse.
For me it was the Mossberg 930. My research led me to it. Just recently got it- used. And have not had a chance to get it out for some shooting. I wanted home defense, so I got the pistol stock on it now, but I also have the traditional shoulder stock, in case I want to try some clay/trap with it.
Brimestone is way better than the BX mag. My only complaint is the mag release, it is too sensitive, and if I hit the butt stock it slams forward. Reminds me of my days on the parade field with my A2!! I was 'that guy', who had that 'CLUNK'!!
THIS is now my favorite thing to do Friday Saturday nights. I pop up a bucket of corn, and grab a couple beers!!! Well until it gets and stays warm enough to get out on my motorcycle... Then will have to DVR it.
INGO swag- t- shirt, coin, dust cover to match my lower, 80% polymer lower,, auto knife, a couple bx 25 mags, 10 round ar mag, speed loader for my 94 revolver, and speed loader case, men gar mag for my 9mm range officer, ankle holder, snacks, pistol buffer kit, marine raffle and USO. I did not...
Got my INGO swag-- dust cover for my INGo lower, coin for my pocket, T-shirt for my *** well it's a T shirt*** sticker for the bumper, chamber flag for the range
I am also a member of MCF&G, and those baffles are a great idea. Seems that should be the norm. If you get a round out of there, then you really really tried hard at it.
And I appreciate the homeowners saying they just want the place to be safe.
hmmm,, maybe offer free membership for homeowners...
When I was in the Army, we had A1 and A2s, and the bullet was something we used on the range, because we did not have a true tool. Later, when I was running ranges, we would always have an old firing pin, and that would work just fine. Did not have enough sense to use a simple nail!! But the...
THAT is the definition of AWESOME!!!! Photo the finished build, and save that for prosperity--- THEN take it out and use it for what it was made for!!!
Years ago, I had a Glock 17, it was like the first year they were the US. I had a bad set of reloads. I thought it was a simple stove pipe, so cleared it and fired another round. THEN realized something was wrong. Took it to the gunsmith, and he simply used a six inch roofing nail and pushed...
Went, did not get anything major. Holster, mag carrier, sticker, 'trainer' butterfly knife, 22 dummy rounds for dry firing /reloading practice, couple boxes of CCI 22LR 'Copper'- never tried them before, and I like trying all different types of 22LR.
Usually I get various modest 22LR pistols/rifles, so everything has been 200-300 range. 10/22, RAR, 15-22, buck mark, GSG. Recently sold a motorcycle, so I was able to finally get my dream of a 19i11 in 9mm. Range Officer, and with the SA special going on, I get 4 mags, another mage carrier...
