If there ends up being a ban it will probably be against buying and selling them (30 round mags). Hopefully nothing gets banned but we will see. I think the address starts at 11:55.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx9GxXYKx_8 I just got done watching this and it makes a lot of sense I know its a long video but is worth watching. There is no "going to far" as far as our government is concerned when it comes to getting what they want.
Gander Mountain in Fort Wayne has a lot of 223 ammo in stock now but every thing else is quickly dwindling and I noticed the price of mags are up as well. I bought a mag for my LC9 about 4 months ago for $30 yesterday they were priced at $49.99. I heard an employee say that they are downsizing...
I think Slawburger has it right and hopefully the price goes down sooner than later. I think that background checks should be done you have to get one for your LTCH so if you have one you should be able to show that to any seller and be ok to purchase.
My wife is a school teacher and she would definitely carry at work if she was allowed to. She has not had any professional training as of now but we are looking into that. She has her LTCH and is proficient with both of her hand guns but I believe that you can never have too much training.
I felt the same way after I bought my first gun I wanted more but the cost of ammo was a little off putting. So I bought a 22LR pistol for plinking and I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. Plus you can get 22lr really cheap almost anywhere you go usually $18-$22 for 525 rounds
There is nothing wrong with making a reasonable profit but when you start charging double or more that in my opinion is too much and me and the other 98% of the people I know cant afford it. I will eventually buy one but I will wait until the frenzy is over and the prices come back down to the...
I have several handguns just not an AR. I just so happen to have the funds to get one now but did not before. Its not that I waited to long I just dont have a disposable income and it takes time to save up the money needed to buy a good AR. At the time I started saving the AR I wanted was around...
As far as I can tell it is a supply thing. I have been looking and all I can seem to find is way over priced private sellers. Most of the gun shops i have visited are sold out and are not sure when they will be receiving more inventory. one store went as far as pulling their ads in store and online.
The hollow point 22LR is an effect round. They are also very cheap and available almost everywhere. I own a 22LR pistol and I enjoy it very much. You can get a box of 525 for about $18. That's a cheap day at the range and a lot of fun.
I voted no but I could go either way. The gun I carry every day for my protection I don't consider a toy. The gun I take to the range to go plinking and have fun with I could consider a toy.
Why are firearms people "price gouging" their fellow firearms people? I know its a free market but that doesn't make it right. I get supply and demand but what i don't get is why people want to add to the sickening unnecessary rise in price of AR's. The only thing I can think of is most people...
I just went to the Fort Wayne Gun and Knife Show this past Saturday and it was ridiculous how over priced every thing was. I priced a Bushmaster Basic in October for around $1000. At the GS I couldn't find any thing for under $1700 new and $1300 used. I was extremely disappointed. I did notice...
