Im considering getting some sort of furniture piece to conceal a firearm in the main living area where we spend most of our time in the house. I'd like it to be large enough for a small carbine if possible. Do any of yall have any that you would recommend? What pro's and con's have you discovered?

if they give you crap...tell the drill sergeant that you are using an improvised DA Form 5517-R Range Card to engage your known targets ;)

i have had one of those experiences where the nub wears out on my issue rifle.
It was very annoying. the other thing i find annoying is that the range selector tends to get changed with the slightest bump. so you have to pay attention to where that is positioned. Also those sight calibrations...
I bought my wife the P238 after testing out a number of different other choices. We picked up the extreme model.
She feels extremely comfortable with it and handles the recoil much better than her 9mm.
she loves how easy it is to rack and how the grips feel.
you will be making a good choice...
