This is a great idea and something to consider, I was originally looking at walther P99's and PPQ's but started looking at the SR9C and am falling in love with the idea. I also like that with the high cap mag it comes with a grip extension essentially making it a full sized SR9. I have giant...
It wasn't even on my radar to consider until Paco Bedejo showed me his. Ive been on a walther trip forever, lol
I just can't find any kind of argument against it really, and it's looking like I should be able to pick one up for a very reasonable price.
He said to the guy with the HEAVILY modified and customized Jeep, lol
I do plan on leaving it the way it is, at least while I learn and grow with it. I am however the type to take apart and "fix" just about everything I've ever owned, and being so just wanted to know if there were things out...
It will be more home and range, but I do plan to carry occasionally, more and more as I feel more comfortable doing so
The SR9C DOES have a magazine disconnect, and I have no idea how I feel about that. Ive seen others have removed it, and would like to know if theres info out there on how to...
software developer/ systems administrator here with my 2 cents:
Hackers tent to go after any sites with weak or know weaknesses to exploit. Its more what engine is running the forum, and how the forum was made than what topic the forum is about. Most websites and forums these days are built from...
I'm giving serious consideration towards the Ruger SR9C as my first pistol. Being my first I'm sure there are going to be things I like and dislike about it as I grow as a shooter.
Im curious to what everyone thinks of the Ruger in general, as a first gun, and what kind of things you can/would...
I am leaning more towards the .40 myself, I just feel more comfortable with the larger caliber guns for some reason. I really need to find one to shoot, I imagine I would love it.
forgive my newbness but...
I am looking for reviews, opinions, and thoughts on the Walther PPQ and P99 from people who own or have had extensive hands on experience.
I would love to get my hands on one to try out but have not yet had the pleasure, and I tent to get pretty bias in my head doing...
I wouldn't really count that against the gun, the police seem to like to spending money unnecessarily... why else would they ride around single officer per car and require at least 3 to pull someone over for a routine traffic violation...
(maybe that just a Fort Wayne thing)
hmm.. taillights...
these shots were using Paco's 40 cal Springfield XDM. I believe the targets were at 10 meters?
Im definitely hooked. Along with Paco's 40 cal I shot; a couple 1911's, a 9mm Barretta, a couple 22 cal revolvers, a 22 cal Barretta Jaguar ,and several others Im sure I'm forgetting.
So today was my first official attempt at shooting
16 rounds all in the black, not too terrible grouping
my attempts with a double tap
Special thanks to Paco Bedejo for inviting me out and showing me the ropes.
I can see the advantage of learning on a 22. I had not previously concidered that but I will add the lower caliber guns to my ever growing list of things to pay attention to :)
I may have a line on a snubnose 357 mag.. I dont know anything about it yet, but it may be something. What are the...
I've been looking into different local ranges to see what is available. Renting guns is a great idea.
I have been looking for a local shop that has the PPQ or P99, I would love to get my hands on one to try out. I have some glock buddies so I'm sure I will be firing a couple of them in the near...
