If you do it the "old fashion way" now, it'll be the same as the last time you did it. If you wait until July, the difference would be that you would NOT had to have your sheriff sign off on the forms, but would instead just send him a copy of the form for his information. The rest will be the same.
Depends on the suppressor. Fully welded cans are going to be tough. They might be able to cut it and weld on new end and baffles if it's in the right place. Cans that aren't fully welded are simple. They remove endcap, replace baffles and weld on a new cap. If it's the fault of the gun or ammo...
You can also buy a Hornady headspace gauge setup and bump the shoulder of the case back .002 for a bolt action and . 003 for a semi auto. This way you know you're sizing the case the minimum you need to for reliable operation.
Umm, nothing at the moment. I file as an individual, so I would in most likelihood wait for 41F so that I don't have to get CLEO sign-off anymore (though he's been great about it up until now). :):
I have a Hornady LNL progressive and I've been really happy with it. I haven't had any issues that weren't user error (forgot to prime a case, charged it with powder and then it made a mess as it went around and caused a primer feed issue). I have the case feeder and I've been really happy with...
You typically want one bullet diameter's depth into the case for decent neck tension. So you'd want at least .308 depth into the case mouth. Another guideline for 300BLK is to take a USGI magazine and seat the bullet so that the place where the projectile is .250 in diameter sits right at the...
Hope you aren't looking for discrete packaging. It showed up on my porch the other day clearly advertising the contents. =) I guess with all the hazmat (powder) packages that show up, I'm not fooling anyone.
Please don't judge suppressors based on that can. I have an Octane 9 and it quiets even supersonic rounds, though it shines with subsonic, and I feel like it reduces felt recoil on my M&P 9mm and my MP5.
Besides the possibility of the pistol bothering the hand, I didn't hear one thing in that video that would make someone want to buy that pistol, even if it didn't bother their hand. It's heavy, ugly among other things.
Re-reading it, the first part is what they wanted to do with their new system. They go on to say that the contract didn't provide what they want so they're scrapping it and starting over.
The biggest takeaway I saw was in the second bullet point, auto approval. It looks like the system might automatically approve form 3's! This could be huge and a big cut-down on dealer-to-dealer wait times. I'm curious what the "predetermined criteria" are for approval?
You actually don't have to notify them of an in-state move, but if you want to, just fill out the 5320.20 interstate transfer form with the new address, and in the box for "items to be returned to original location" choose "No."
