I am thinking of applying for a job as one of these and just wanted to hear from those who currently do this. What would you say the pros/cons be? Any advice? Anybody who used their own vehicle? Decent pay?
I have no experience with this but I am good with tools and am organized and...
I'll say it again since the first one got kinda buried. I know that my title is misleading and I definitely could have chosen a better one, I just couldn't think of anything at the time for some reason. I apologize. Also, I know they were officers because they were in full uniform and there...
I agree the title is a bit misleading. I apologize, I couldn't think of anything better at the time.
From what I saw, the officers were in full uniform, and I saw a few cruisers at the back of the parking lot.
Looking back, I think I got more worked up about than necessary. I realize...
So I was at Walmart in Evansville this past Friday doing some shopping. When I came out I noticed several vehicles had these red flyer/ticket looking pieces of paper on the windshield. When I got to my vehicle I had one too. It talked about ways to keep your vehicle from being targeted for...
Did a quick check on this thread to see if the video of this theft was posted and didn't see it. If it has, sorry for the dupe, but here it is:

The deer was taken opening morning. As I was told, a couple of hunters were positioned to take this deer, but the lady saw it first. I have seen several large bucks taken in Griffin, but nothing like this. I hunt in Stewartsville, and rarely do they seem to want to cross the interstate :xmad:
Just as the title states, Evansville Police now has an app that allows you to check crime stats and even +1/-1 an officer. Could be useful after having an OC incident.

I posted this in the shooting sports section under a thread already started, but didn't know if it would be seen enough and I feel I would be doing a disservice if I didn't inform as many as you as possible.
According to his twitter, FPS Russia will be attending the Knob Creek machine gun...
I just found out via twitter that our favorite Russian will be there as well:

I sure hope it rains this week so we're not in the fields and I can go.
And as always, have nice day!
Two of my favorites:
1) Mix up some mac and cheese (or shells and cheese, which I prefer) and add in some grilled or microwaved cut up sausage links/hot dogs.
2) Throw a couple of chicken breasts in a crock pot with enough water to cover the breasts, and add a package of taco seasoning and...
