The dr wouldn't give me a recommendation either way, they didn't want to be involved in the decision. That's why I went the route I did with just sending my medical records for ISP to review and make the decision. I guess it goes to the judge now.- Rydnlow

Does anyone have any experience going to a hearing after trying to appeal a permit denial? I was denied for medical reasons and I sent off my records and requested an appeal. I have been granted a hearing in Indy. I was just wondering what to expect.- Rydnlow

I received my denial letter today for my LTCH. Clean record and all. Apparently if you check the box about seeing a Psychiatrist in your life time it means you "have a propensity for violent or emotionally unstable conduct". This is such bull****! I will definitely be appealing this one!- Rydnlow

I paid local on 2/5/13. When I filled out my app I had to check the psychiatrist box for seeing one in my lifetime. The local PD didn't make a big deal out of it. Does anyone have experience getting their permit after checking the box for psychiatric help on the app? My local PD said I didn't need to submit medical records or sign a release for them or anything. They acted like it was no big deal. Just wondering how much that might hold my app up.- Rydnlow
