I agree with what you are saying here. Since the 2007 financial crisis I have noticed that many people have taken pay cuts and the many of the available open jobs are low paying minimum wage. The richest 5% own 90-95$ of the wealth. This is the group that has made most of the money since...
This has been a quite interesting topic. Some of the responses have been sensible, while others I hope are just sarcasm. I have never been pulled over while armed. This is something that I have thought about at length. I was talking with a coworker a while back about getting pulled over. He...
My wife has worked for Walmart the last 20 plus years. Over those years many of their benefits have steadily declined. I love how the company proclaimed in a lot of commercials lately about giving their associates pay raises and that they were thinking about them. Since that time many stores...
They are offering a couple of AR kits that the gun comes with all the pieces and parts for 4 calibers in one. I have a Windam CDI and it is a great rifle. I am going to take a hard look at their multiple caliber kits. I saw them listed on their website.
Presently I carry the SW Shield 9mm. I am looking forward to seeing the Walther PPQ compact that is coming out this year. I have a M2 in 45acp and I love that gun. I only hope Walther puts the same trigger in it as the full size.
I have both the VP9 and just picked up a PPQ M2 in 45acp. I love both of these guns. They both shoot great and have sweet triggers. I think it boils down to the paddle mag release on the VP9 or the traditional side button on the PPQ. I do not see how you can go wrong with either one.
I read the article that was the subject of this thread. The first thing I noticed is that it is written by a conservative group the National Review. I am not condemning the National Review as I have read several articles from it. All political magazines, papers, talk shows, radio shows are...
He is not new to firearms. His YouTube channel is ok. I like some of his videos. If nothing else I give him credit that he was willing to admit his negligent discharge and talk about it publicly to hopefully prevent others from having the same thing happen to them.
I tend to agree with you. I would have to believe the constable would not have broken into the apartment, that action was not within his authority. I personally do not see the need to file a complaint, but that is a decision to be made by the OP.
I have to admit my response was quite cynical but I have read several articles that state the federal government may have to invest the money to develop new antibiotics because big pharma is not interested.
I love my VP9. It is accurate, and the ergonomics is great, and has a real smooth trigger. My next pistol will either be a Walther PPQ or a 1911. Not sure which one to get first. The PPQ would be cheaper. I may part ways with a couple of my other pistols to fund one of them.
I like Hickok45's you tube channel. I enjoy watching some of his videos. Once I read that the shop had been bought by Buds I knew why he was going to be there. Quite a few of the guns that he make the videos for are supplied by Buds. If I lived closer I would go, might be kind of cool to...
Better living through pharmaceuticals. Drug companies are not in business to cure our ills. They are in business to have drugs that make large profits. Whatever drug that is does not matter.
I responded to this posting earlier. I have thought about what my initial response was and decided that I will explain more of my response.
Situation as I can read from the article - Police decided to pull over the car for some reason that is not listed, although it does state they were not...
US Navy 1983 - 2003. Aircraft mechanic, 3 overseas deployments on 3 different aircraft carriers, USS Forestall, USS John F Kennedy, USS Enterprise. Loved what I did, always felt I had a purpose for what I did. Not quite the same feeling now that I am out and working to make a living in...
This is the new tactics being used by gun control groups that want to erase the 2nd amendment. They work at slowly adding more and more "common sense" restrictions while portraying themselves as supporting the 2A, when in fact they do not. In the end this guy's argument does not make sense and...
That is a touching story. He went far and above the call of duty. He is an example of what our society has lost - compassion, and thinking of more than themselves.
I have looked at it, and concluded for me that it is about ammo cost/availability. The .223 is a lot cheaper and more plentiful. If I were looking for another AR platform in another round I would look at the 7.62x39. Why - because the ammo is cheap and plentiful. Given the high cost of...
