      1911 Purchase

      Hey guys I am looking to purchase a new 1911 (has always been one of the top three guns I have wanted to own) in the next few weeks. My problem is that I only have about $600 to spend. I have been looking at the SA Mil Spec or GI. :patriot: Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Springfield XDSC or Glock 27 ???

      I have an XD .45 and absolutely love it. It is now my carry piece. I have no experience with the Glock (although I have heard nothing but good things about it) so I can't speak about it. My opinion is based soley on my experience owning and shooting the XD.:ar15:

      Favorite Tactical Pants

      Thanks guys. Interesting range of opinions. My favorites are the Propper Lightweight and 24-7 style by Tru-Spec, in that order. They both fit great and are durable yet comfortable. The Propper pants are, I believe, the best buy for the money. How about Blackhawk pants-has anyone tried them?

      SA XD .45

      I bought a new SA XD .45 and took it to the range for the first time last weekend. All I can say is...wow! The XD is very comfortable to shoot and extremely accurate. I am in no way an expert shot but I had no problems putting together 2 in. groups at 15 yards. All this for under $500!
