      Gulf State Park

      its a great place to go to do nothing or something. Its not too touristy. We hung out at the pool and beach most of the time. Took a dolphin tour that went way back into the swamps. We saw dolphins fron the balcony. Just relaxed. It is definitely one of our favorites. Enjoy.

      I take the kids out with me. We have waked our new property several times with no luck. Lots of big deer on the trail cams. I know they are there, I'm just not very good or lucky. I have friends that walk right to them all the time. I wish I had a shed dog.

      Brownell PMAGS finally arrived!

      My ordered was placed on Dec. 18th. Ordered a 10 pack. Nothing yet. I'm not concerned when they come as long as it comes. I recieved a shipment of mags from Ranger Joe's last week, so that gives me some hope.

      SHTF thoughts on food acquisition

      I prefer to hunt with a bow. I haven't taken a gun during deer season for several years. My new homestead is ten acres, mostly wooded. It's at the edge of city limits. No complaints from the neighbors while hunting. In fact, they don't even know when I'm in the woods. I like to kelp it that way.

      Anyone ever seen a white squirrel?

      Ok, this sounds strange to me and may not be true, but I read somewhere that a white squirrel is the offspring of black and gray squirrels. Again, I don't know how true it is.
