Been making my own ice cream at home for about a year now. It's pretty easy to do and MUCH better than anything you can buy in the stores. My latest concoction was made last weekend and is Maple Ice Cream with Salty, Buttered Nuts (Pecans)
If I end up attending graduate school there in the fall, I will gladly join. Still waiting for word back on several applications before I decide where I end up.
Amazing things are being done with those 3D printers these days. I know one was used to build a new beak for a Bald Eagle that was shot by a poacher. It'll never live in the wild again, but at least it cane eat and preen normally.

I'm not going to lie. I asked him to fix it a couple of times first. Then I was tired of not having any ice to put in my water, so I got his Snap-On multi-bit tool out and did it myself. I froze my hands off, but it was making ice again by the time he got home. :D
I pulled the entire ice maker out of the freezer a few days ago and fixed it myself! About the only inside house chore I ever ask him to do, besides fixing stuff, is scrub the rust out of the damned shower and clean the scum off the doors since he is big enough to lift them out of their track...
I've suffered with them since I was 5 years old, and they are most definitely associated with severe changes in pressure ie. weather systems that roll through in spring.
Nothing has helped me short of large amounts of caffeine during onset (my auras), and all I can do is just suffer through...
