      So long Sunday alcohol sales!

I understand about the price difference both in what they pay and what they charge. I always considered it my choice to pay more for the added convenience of obtaining my barley sodas ready to tip. So would that be a benefit that the grocery store would have if they all played by the same rules?

I'm new and your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience.

I would like to petition for 10 brownie post points :D due to the quality of all my post to date <purple> It is taking me longer than I thought to get to 50, I am in sponge mode right now just soaking up all this good info <not purple>. Still betting I get to 50 before I get my LTCH.

Shopping for a 22--So Many Choices

Only one I have experience with is the M&P 22. Never had any issues with it as far as FTE with any ammo I have run through it. As others have noted if this is your backup/ secondary gun then you may want to get one as close to it's big brother as possible. I intend to get a M&P 9 or 40 which is...

      USFA ZIP .22lr

Anyone one actually laid eyeballs or better yet hands on the ZIP .22lr? I don't care for how they advertise it with the whole XBox/gamer/fun idea but I like the uniqueness and I like .22's and the price seems to be okay. If anyone knows of a LGS that has one I would love to go check it out first...

      Cricket .22 LR

Nice, my son got a cricket from his uncle when he was 8. It was a New England Firearms break barrel type. He loves it. Big fan of this type of gun for the kiddos, plenty of time to think and discuss what they are doing between shots instead of just going blam, blam, blam

      Tangents

Is it just me? Every time I get in this site with something in mind to look up, read about, check a thread... I end up somewhere else because a title caught my eye, see a user name that is familiar and want to see what they have to say, something else shiny :D and before I know it, it has been...

      Walmart Ammo and This evening...

I check a couple of Wally's and Caselton Gander regularly and can never bump into .22lr anymore. See some 9mm on occasion. Can't even get .22lr at my LGS. Kinda odd on the 22 stuff?

      good home defense shotgun

I went with the 20 guage Mossberg 920. The 26" barrel is probably too long to be termed HD but anyone in my household can use it. Not a big believer in the fact that a noise/sound is going to have an effect but putting one in the chamber on this little puppy sure sounds good to me.

I'm new and your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience.

Doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to me. Then again I didn't think getting my LTCH would be either. Hmmm wonder which I will achieve first:dunno:

Hey all, new to the site. I read the letter from the Utah Sheriffs Assoc. and got me thinking about Oathkeepers, haven't heard much about it lately and haven't come across them on this site yet. Looking for info and opinion.

Utah Sheriff's Assocation Letter to Obama

That was a good read. Get to know your local sheriff's department. That is where the buck truly starts and stops. Sorry Marion County

      Current LTCH Wait

I started mine in early October, did not go the L1 route as I didn't think I was in a hurry <o.k. and I'm what you might call thrifty> guess what! Still waiting. I have lived in 4 different states since adulthood so I am attributing it to that. This is also the first time I have tried to get a...

      Happy Saturday

Just signed up earlier this week. Hunted a little as a teenager with friends but hadn't touched a firearm in over 25 years. Pops still has that Winchester Model 97 sitting in the closet. Anyway, now with a son coming of age it's high time I learn proper rifle, shotgun and handgun skills so I can...

What was or is your most accurate .22cal hunting rifle:

I have the Mark II and it is a great rifle. Would you recommend Savage for a .22 semi auto? I haven't seen one with the accutrigger but wondered if it would be a good low cost semi

      Shooting to the left

Thanks for the tips. A little more detail. This happens if I shoot right or left and it is off straight left. Not as accurate <yet> on weak side so grouping is not there but still seems left. I am right eye dominant and right handed. I guessed if anything I would be off to the right if it was a...
