I shoot a Ruger Single Ten, it's basically my "fun gun." Shoots great at the range and people love to admire it. I've heard nothing but good things on Heritage's Rough Rider, however, so you're looking in the right direction.
My little sister occasionally shoots my mother's Browning Buckmark. She doesn't have large hands and the Buckmark small frame fits her hand perfectly. If you've ever fired one you know how easy they are to hold and handle and they have very little recoil like nearly all .22 target pistols...
Thanks for the cleaning tip, rockhopper. That is my biggest concern to be honest. I haven't found anything on a factory model with this compensator either... and I've looked quite a bit. I haven't even seen another Colt with this type of compensator, to be honest. Can't wait to get it cleaned...
