      i have recently bought a mossy 500 just like my fathers, but my ole faithful is a westernfield 20 guage, bolt action. havent had a 870 so i cant tell you anything bout them. i have hunted with a mossy and its a great gun. but id start off with a cheaper bolt action first. personal preference.....

      hey for gloves you cant go wrong with the tactical police/ military hardened knuckle gloves... i have a pair and they are freakin great! also underarmour has some great boots. however i wear a 13x6E and noone carries those and a 15 doesnt work. just thought id try and help ya out, goodluck.
