No... but very close call. June 21, 2014. Downtown Indianapolis. I exited the back door of the Indiana Roof Ballroom about midnight into the 4th floor of the parking garage. My bag and keys in my left hand and my right hand on my pocket pistol (Sig P938 mini-1911). As I rounded the ramp corner...
A gun is always pointed "somewhere", so I stay ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN of it's condition and check its condition AGAIN every time I touch the firearm, even if I just handled it 30 seconds before. No ammo in the room, bolt open, slide locked back, cylinder out... anything I can do to make sure there...
After thinking through what I needed in a pocket 9, I chose the Sig P938 and bought it from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore in OH. It lives in my front pocket "cocked n locked" in a pocket holster. Shoots everything from FMJ reloads to new factory FMJ to high-end defensive rounds. Very manageable...
The Comprehensive Indiana Gun Law class, taught by Guy Relford of Tactical Firearms Training, was very informative and presented in an organized and complete manner. It really opened my eyes as to where Indiana citizens are allowed carry (and not), and how to behave/what to say (or not say) when...
Yeah... what he said. If not, you become George Zimmerman or this Dunn guy. If your family is in the car it's a whole different matter. Shoot to kill and deal with the consequences later.

As long as any gun I buy is black she'll never know unless she sees them all together at once. She knows I have a black gun and some other one with wooden grips:-)
Agreed. The CZ's are under-appreciated by anyone who doesn't have one. Those of us that do have them are crazy about them.
I have a P-01 that is a beautiful handgun. Shoots great, accurate, well-made, shoots ANYTHING. Just love it.
FYI: I did shoot a CZ-83 that had jamming problems, so maybe...
Just showing off my budding collection!

I'm happy to see all of these good reports on the SR9c. I had one that was a lemon. Ruger finally sent me a new replacement gun and I sold it to buy myself a CZ75 P-01. Although my SR9c was a lemon and jammed all of the time, I did love the feel in the hand, the trigger, etc. And when it shot...
